The Texas Department of Transportation has released the number of car crashes related to a hand-held cell phone, and it isn’t a pretty picture.
Since 2005, over 1,700 drivers were involved in a car crash while using their cell phone. In 2009, they were responsible for almost 700 crashes. Four of them were deadly.
